Buick Club Membership Information and Application
The Gopher State Chapter of the Buick Club of America was founded in 1976 by 20 people who wanted ton preserve and restore Buick automobiles. We meet with members and their families to discuss, volunteer and encourage each other for this purpose. It is not necessary to own a Buick to be a member of our club, but it is a good way to cultivate a continued interest in the preservation and restoration of those fine automobiles.
Our chapter meets the second Tuesday of each month at 7:30 P.M. Our fiscal (membership) year runs July 1 through June 30. Dues are $20.00 per family, paid annually.
When you join
When you join you will receive a nametag, annual club roster, and The Porthole.
The Porthole is a monthly publication sent out the first of each month. It’s filled with club business, activities, ads, an event calendar, and all kinds of club information. Ads are free for all members. Meetings consist of the board members reports, old and new business, and a “car talk” segment. This brings our Buick family together to participate, solve problems, give and receive advice on car related topics and activities, and keep up on our fellow members activities. Interested in Buick merchandise? We either have it on hand or can order it for you.
Membership in the Buick Club of America (BCA) is required to join the Gopher State Chapter. If you are already a national BCA member, just write in your BCA number and expiration date on the application. If not, please complete the BCA application, including the $50.00 dues for national membership. We will forward it to the BCA and you will then also receive the Bugle magazine, all the national mailings, information on regional along with national activities, and your free ads for members on a national level also.
